Central Railway Announces Four Unreserved Special Trains for URS Festival; Services to Run Between CSMT–Nagpur and Nagpur–Nashik Road
Mumbai/Nagpur, 10th July 2026: To manage the expected increase in passenger traffic during the URS festival, Central Railway will operate four unreserved special train services, comprising two trips between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai and Nagpur and two trips between Nagpur and Nashik Road.
CSMT–Nagpur Unreserved Special
Train No. 01021 will depart from CSMT Mumbai at 12:30 am on July 11 and reach Nagpur at 3:45 pm the same day.
The return service, Train No. 01022, will leave Nagpur at 9:40 pm on July 12 and arrive at CSMT Mumbai at 1:50 pm on July 13.
The train will halt at Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Murtijapur, Badnera, Dhamangaon and Wardha.
Nagpur–Nashik Road Unreserved Special
Train No. 01203 will depart Nagpur at 6:15 pm on July 12 and reach Nashik Road at 5:30 am on July 13.
The return service, Train No. 01204, will leave Nashik Road at 7:50 am on July 13 and arrive at Nagpur at 8:00 pm the same day.
The train will stop at Ajni, Sevagram, Wardha, Pulgaon, Dhamangaon, Chandur, Badnera, Akola, Shegaon, Malkapur, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Chalisgaon and Manmad.
Both special trains will comprise 18 coaches, including 16 General Second Class coaches and 2 General Second Class-cum-Guard Brake Vans.
Tickets for the unreserved coaches will be available through the UTS system at the applicable unreserved superfast Mail/Express fare. Passengers can also book unreserved tickets using the RailOne app. Detailed train timings and halt schedules are available through the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) and the Indian Railways enquiry portal.
