Fire Breaks Out at Commercial Premises in Mumbai’s Kandivali West; No Injuries Reported

Mumbai, 15th July 2026 : A Level-I fire broke out at a commercial premises in Kandivali West during the early hours of Wednesday, damaging electrical installations, office equipment, stored goods and a temporary monsoon shed. No injuries were reported in the incident, officials said.

According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) received a fire call at 5:09 a.m. The incident was reported from a property located on Charkop Road, opposite Hindustan Naka, Plot No. 118/D, near Sandhya Bar in Kandivali West.

Fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and carried out firefighting operations. Officials said the blaze was confined to electrical installations, office equipment, stored materials and a temporary monsoon shed within the commercial premises.

The Mumbai Fire Brigade confirmed that no casualties or injuries were reported. The fire was brought under control, preventing it from spreading to adjoining properties.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and an investigation is underway.
