Mumbai: Panic Over Threat Calls To Bomb Amitabh Bachchan’s Bungalow And Three Railway Stations, Security Beefed Up

Mumbai, 7th August 2021: Security has been beefed up at three major railway stations in Mumbai and the bungalow of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan after police received an anonymous call about bombs being planted at these places. However, nothing suspicious has been found so far during the search.

The main control room of Mumbai Police received a call on Friday night, in which the caller said that the bombs were planted at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Byculla, Dadar railway stations and actor Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow in Juhu, the police said.

“After receiving the call, Government Railway Police (GRP) along with Railway Protection Force (RPF), Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS), Dog Squad and local police personnel reached these places and search operation was carried out,” a police officer said.

“Nothing suspicious has been found in these places so far, but heavy police have been deployed there,” he added.
