Navi Mumbai: No Casualties Reported in Kharghar High-Rise Fire Incident
Navi Mumbai, 15th May 2024: A fire incident occurred at a high-rise building in the Kharghar area ofneighbouringg Navi Mumbai on Tuesday evening, but fortunately, there were no casualties, according to an official statement. The fire originated within a flat on the 14th floor of the ‘Chaturbhuj’ building, located near Shilp Chowk, around 6.45 pm.
Responding swiftly, three vehicles from the Kharghar Fire Brigade and one from Kalamboli were dispatched to the scene. After a concerted effort lasting over two hours, the flames were successfully extinguished, as confirmed by the civic official.
Despite the intensity of the blaze, there were no reported injuries. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire, the official added.
