Temporary Water Supply Disruption in Thane Municipal Area Due to MIDC Repair Work

Thane, 29th November 2023: In an upcoming maintenance initiative, the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) is set to undertake repairs on the water channel at Katai Naka on Friday. As a consequence of this essential work, water supply from MIDC will be temporarily halted in the Thane Municipal area from noon to midnight on Friday.

The affected regions include Diva, Mumbra, Kalwa, Rupadevi Pada in Wagle Estate, Kisan Nagar, Nehru Nagar, and Kolshet areas in Ghodbunder within the Thane Municipal Corporation area, all of which receive their water supply through MIDC. The repair work specifically targets the water channel at Katai Naka, necessitating the suspension of the water supply during the specified hours on Friday.

Residents are advised to make necessary arrangements for their water needs during this temporary disruption. Additionally, the water supply department of Thane Municipal Corporation has alerted the public to the likelihood of the water supply being restored with lower pressure for the subsequent one to two days following the repair.
