Former Shiv Sena Corporator Arrested In Ghatkopar, Citizens Protest

Ghatkopar, 13th February 2023: A year ago, a former Shiv Sena corporator in Ghatkopar, Kiran Landge, punched a municipal official as there was no water in the area. In this regard, Vinoba Bhave Nagar Police arrested him on Monday, and after the arrest, the citizens started a protest outside the police station.

The Ghatkopar Asalfa area had a major water problem a year ago. Citizens brought this problem to the ears of former local corporator Kiran Landge. He immediately met the municipal officer. This time there was a fight between him and the municipal officials. The municipal officer filed a complaint in this regard at the Vinoba Bhave Nagar police station. Vinoba Bhave Nagar police arrested Landge on Monday after a year of court orders. However, as soon as they got the information about their arrest, citizens blocked the road in the Ghatkopar area. After that, the citizens gathered outside the Vinoba Bhave Nagar police station and protested. At this time, the citizens alleged that this action was taken against the corporator due to the pressure of the Shinde group.
