Thane: Man Steals Almost Rs Four Lakh For Father’s Treatment
Dombivli, 28th February 2023: To meet the cost of his father’s treatment, a man from Murbad had stolen Rs 5.92 lakh from a house in Dombivli. The Vishnunagar police immediately investigated the matter and arrested him from Murbad.
The man has been identified as Vaibhav Murbade. “I cannot afford the cost of my father’s illness in a private hospital. There is no money in hand for treatment,” Murbade said. Police seized the stolen cash from him. As Murbade’s father is ill, he is undergoing medical treatment. As he did not have enough money to cover his father’s daily medical expenses, Murbade decided to steal and allocate this amount to meet these expenses.
A house in Dombivli West was burgled last week. The owner of the house filed a complaint at the Vishnunagar police station. The police registered a case and started an investigation by checking the CCTV footage of the complainant’s house. In this investigation, a young man was seen leaving the house after burglarizing it. Police confirmed the identity of the young man through the footage. The police found that the burglar was from Murbad taluka. The police traced the young man’s village near Murbad and kept him under surveillance. He was caught and arrested.
Under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Pandharnath Bhalerao of Vishnunagar Police Station, Police Sub-Inspector D. A. Bhawar and Amol Andhale arrested the man.
