Fatal Bridge Failure: Two Laborers Lose Lives, Two Injured in Navi Mumbai

Navi Mumbai, 27th February 2024: Tragedy struck Uran on Monday as a bridge spanning a creek collapsed, resulting in the unfortunate demise of two individuals.
The incident occurred at 5:30 pm and claimed the lives of labourers Rajesh Laxman Waghmare (30) and Avinash Suresh Murkute (22), while two others sustained injuries.
The victims, employed at a nearby brick kiln, had set out for fishing when the 35-year-old bridge connecting Dadarpada and Dhudus villages gave way, trapping them. T
The two injured labourers have been promptly hospitalized, according to a statement from the Uran police station official.
