Ganpati Rush: 4 More Special Trains Between Panvel and Madgaon, Total Services Reach 394
Panvel, 20 September 2026: Railways will operate four additional Ganpati Special train services between Panvel and Madgaon, taking the total number of Ganpati Special train services announced so far to 394.
The additional services include two trains from Panvel to Madgaon and two in the return direction. The overall 394 services comprise 262 by Central Railway, 64 by Western Railway, 62 by Konkan Railway and six by South Central Railway, apart from regular scheduled trains.
Panvel–Madgaon Special
Train No. 01113 Panvel–Madgaon Special will depart Panvel at 10 am on September 21 and September 28 and reach Madgaon at 11.55 pm on the same day.
In the return direction, Train No. 01112 Madgaon–Panvel Special will leave Madgaon at 8 pm on September 20 and September 27 and arrive at Panvel at 9 am the following day.
The trains will halt at Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim and Karmali.
The composition will include one First AC-cum-AC 2-Tier coach, two AC 2-Tier coaches, four AC 3-Tier coaches, two AC 3-Tier Economy coaches, six Sleeper Class coaches, four General Second Class coaches, one Second Seating-cum-Guard’s Brake Van and one Generator Van.
Reservation
Bookings for Train No. 01113 Panvel–Madgaon Special will open on September 20, 2026 through all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) locations and the IRCTC website.
Tickets for unreserved coaches can be booked through the UTS system at normal charges. Passengers can also use the RailOne app for ticket booking.
