Actress Kalyani Kurale Dies In Road Accident, Hit By Dumper

Kolhapur, 13th November 2022: Marathi TV actress Kalyani Kurale-Jadhav died in a road accident on Saturday. 32-year-old Kalyani was hit by a dumper in Maharashtra’s Kolhapur. Kalyani was returning home after closing the restaurant. She was on her bike. Her restaurant is located in Halondi Sangli Phata. The accident happened near the restaurant. A Kolhapur police officer said that a case has been registered against the dumper driver under the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicles Act.

According to the report of the news agency PTI, the police officer said that Kalyani was on her way home late Saturday evening. The accident happened near the Halondi intersection on the Sangli-Kolhapur highway. “She was taken to the hospital where she was declared brought dead,” the police said. A case has been registered against the driver.

The Indian Express reported in its report that the driver who hit Kalyani has been taken into custody. Police have registered an FIR at Shiroli police station in Kolhapur. Police are investigating further.

Kalyani was a well-known face of the Marathi TV industry. She has worked in TV shows like ‘Tujyat Jeev Rangala’ and ‘Dakkhancha Raja Jyotiba’. Kalyani recently opened a restaurant in Kolhapur where she looked after the customers.
