Bhiwandi Municipal Employees Have A Sweet Diwali, A Grant Of Rs 11,000 Has Been Announced 

Thane, 13th October 2022: It has been decided to give an Rs 11,000 welfare subsidy to the Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation employees on the occasion of Diwali.

Commissioner and Administrator Vijay Kumar Mhasal announced on Wednesday that it has been decided to give an Rs 11,000 ex-gratia grant to Bhiwandi Municipal Corporation employees on the occasion of Diwali. Compared to last year, this year the amount of grants has increased by Rs 900, as well as, this year Diwali will be sweeter as they have announced to offer the grant before Diwali itself.

This year, the municipal employee unions demanded the administration give a grant of Rs 15,000. In this regard, Commissioner and Administrator Vijaykumar Mhasal held a meeting with the representatives and officers of the employee union. After the positive discussion that was held, Commissioner Mhasal announced to give 11 thousand rupees to the employees.

This year, Diwali will come with extra gifts for the employees as they have announced to give Sanugrah a subsidy before Diwali. Last year, Rs 10,100 was announced for the employees. This year it has been announced to give Rs. 11,000. Therefore, this year’s grace grant has increased by Rs. 900 compared to the previous year.
