Pune, April 22, 2022: Local girl Shibani Gupte won a memorable winning the Singles and Doubles crown at the MSLTA Grand Slam Tennis Academy Championship series Under 12 Tennis Tournament which being organized by Grand Slam Tennis Academy Under the auspices of MSLTA and AITA and to be played at Natraj Tennis Courts, Karvenagar
In the girls singles finals 5th standard student of Vidya Valley School, Shibani Gupte upset fourth seeded Ritsa Kondkar 6-3, 6-7(4), 6-1 to win the crown. She practices at Om Dalvi Tennis Academy under coach Maruti Raut.
In the doubles Final Round Gupte tied up with Myra Topno scored a 2-6, 7-5, 10-7 win over second seeded pair of Ritsa Kondkar and Kavya Pandey.
In boys singles finals 6th standard student of Bishops School Aryan Kirrtane upset top seeded Smit Undre 3-6, 6-0, 6-2 to claim the title. Aryan practices at Aadar Poonawala Tennis Acdemy coach Nitin Kirrtane and Prasanjit Paul.
The winner got trophy and certificates. The prizes were given away at the hand of Mr.Girish Ghanwat, Head CSR Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Mr.Ankush Pawar, Associate Director HR, Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
