Mumbai, 28th November 2022: The service time of Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Metro 1 has again been increased by one hour and the service of Metro 1 started at 5.30 am today. So far, the first train was leaving from Versova and Ghatkopar metro stations at 6:30 in the morning. But now this time has been changed to half past five in the morning.
Metro services were closed for 211 days between March 22 and October 18, 2020, during the Corona period. Metro service started on 19 October 2020. However, considering the Corona crisis, the service duration and rounds were reduced. As the Corona crisis eased, MMOPL gradually increased the time and rounds. After all the restrictions of Corona were removed, an attempt was made to restore the time of the pre-Corona era. Now finally, metro service has been restored. Now, the metro service will continue from 5.30 am to 12.07 am.
According to the information given by MMOPL, the first train left Versova and Ghatkopar metro stations at 5:30 in the morning. However, there has been no change in the nighttime. The last train departs from Ghatkopar metro station at 11.44 pm and the last train departs from Versova metro station at 11.19 pm and reaches Ghatkopar at 12.07 am.
