Fire Breaks Out at HyperCity Mall in Thane’s Kasarvadavali

Mumbai, 28th January 2025: A significant fire broke out on the second floor of HyperCity Mall in Kasarvadavali, Thane (West), on Tuesday morning. The blaze began around 7:56 am at the Puma Factory Outlet located in the mall, as reported by the Disaster Management Control Room.

Mukesh Mishra was the first to alert authorities, using his mobile phone to report the incident. The Thane Disaster Management Unit quickly responded by sending personnel and a pickup vehicle, while the Fire Brigade deployed a rescue vehicle, a fire tender, and a high-rise fire vehicle to manage the situation.

Kasarvadavali police officials and staff were also on-site, coordinating with the disaster management and firefighting teams to control the fire. The blaze was extinguished by approximately 9:15 am.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but no casualties have been reported. Authorities focused on containing the fire to prevent it from spreading, ensuring a successful operation.
