IAF to Conduct Aerial Display Over Mumbai from January 12 to 14
Mumbai, 9th January 2024: The Indian Air Force (IAF) is set to organize a spectacular aerial display in Mumbai from January 12 to January 14, 2024, as part of its outreach program in collaboration with the Government of Maharashtra. The event, scheduled between 12 pm to 1 pm, will unfold over the iconic Marine Drive.
The primary objective of this outreach program is to enhance awareness and establish a stronger connection between the Indian Air Force and the local community. The mesmerizing displays and demonstrations during the event are designed to showcase the exceptional skills, capabilities, and professionalism of the IAF.
The highlights of the event include aerobatic displays by the renowned Suryakiran Aerobatic Display Team (SKAT) and the captivating ‘Sarang’ Helicopter Display Team. The aerial activities will encompass a diverse range, featuring a flypast and low-level aerobatic display by the Su-30 MKI, thrilling freefall and parachute displays by the esteemed ‘Akashganga’ team, and the participation of C-130 aircraft.
This three-day spectacle promises to be an exhilarating experience, bringing the magic of the Indian Air Force to the heart of Mumbai.
