Kalyan, 12th July 2022: The Public Relations Department of the Kalyan-Dombivali Municipal Corporation (KDMC) has announced a helpline number ((0251) 2201168) for the residents to report complaints and statements about potholes within the Municipal Corporation boundary. So far, two senior citizens have suffered critical injuries because of the potholes on the road.
Many such accidents are underway in different areas. In such cases, instead of filling out the potholes by taking action, people have expressed intense anger over the cause of the helpline number by the administration.
After the KDMC announced the helpline for the potholes, many residents contacted the helpline number today morning at 9.30 am. But, no one was present in that room. Many residents complained, “From 9 am to 11 am, we were constantly contacting this number, but no one responded.”
