Amidst this, Konkona has taken the opportunity to share her perspective on the Ranbir Kapoor starrer film ‘Animal’ in a recent interview.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, ‘Animal’ has sparked varying opinions among viewers, with some lauding it while others criticize its depiction of violence and perceived misogyny. Konkona Sen Sharma, however, characterized the film as distinct within its genre. Notably, she admitted to not having watched the movie herself, shedding light on the varied reactions it has generated.

In a recent conversation with ANI, Konkona Sen Sharma expressed her stance on violence and intimate scenes in films. This sentiment extends to intimate scenes as well; while she does not mind their inclusion, she emphasizes the importance of such scenes contributing purposefully to the storytelling rather than being gratuitous. Konkona emphasized the significance of a solid rationale behind the portrayal of both violence and intimate scenes.
