Maharashtra ATS Arrests Three Gangsters In Thane
Thane, 9th January 2023: An official of the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) announced on Monday that three associates of Punjabi mobster Sonu Khatri had been detained by the (ATS) in Thane district. The three suspects were apprehended by the ATS on Sunday evening in Kalyan in Thane as part of a joint operation with the Punjab Police’s Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), according to the official. He said that the group had communication with the gangster-terrorist Harvinder Singh, aka Rinda.
According to him, ATS agents set up a trap at the NRC colony in Ambivali based on precise information provided to them by the Punjab police. The culprit was captured at Yadav Nagar by the ATS squad, which included members of the Kalachowki and Vikhroli divisions, with the assistance of neighbourhood police and Punjab police, he claimed.
