Man Arrested for Cheating During Mumbai Police Recruitment Exam

Mumbai, 13th January 2025: A 25-year-old man was arrested by Oshiwara police on charges of cheating during the Mumbai police recruitment exam, according to authorities. The individual was reportedly caught using an electronic device during the written exam for police driver vacancies.

Police officials stated that the exams were held at Raigad Military School in Oshiwara, where examiners became suspicious of his actions.

“He was frequently touching his ear, likely due to a weak signal. He even visited the washroom during the exam,” an officer explained.

Upon further inspection, examiners found an electronic device with a SIM card linked to a Bluetooth device concealed in his ear. He was immediately taken into custody and a case was registered.
