MNS Workers Attempt To Block Mumbai-Pune Expressway In Protest Against Rahul Gandhi

Navi Mumbai, 19th November 2022: After receiving instructions from Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray to protest against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, MNS party workers today tried to protest by blocking the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. However, due to the prior information, more police were stationed on the highway than the MNS workers.

This movement was attempted under the guidance of Kalamboli MNS city president Amol Bochare. Kalamboli Police Station Senior Police Inspector Sanjay Patil was present there along with the police. Sensing that the number of police was greater, the MNS workers withdrew to the Shiv Panvel highway, some distance from the expressway.

Kalamboli police scared the MNS members while the protesters were going to block the Shiv Panvel highway, shouting slogans against Rahul Gandhi.
