Mumbai: 23-Year-Old Girl Molested By Impersonator Posing As Police Officer In Bandra
Bandra, 3rd October 2023: In the lift of the elite building in Bandra, a 23-year-old young girl was allegedly molested by a fake policeman on Sunday. Bandra Police have registered a case and are conducting further investigation into this matter.
On Sunday, October 1, the 23-year-old complainant, who resides on the second floor of the building in Bandra West, was going to her home at around 3 PM. At that time, one person boarded the elevator along with the plaintiff. After that, the accused started molesting a girl by masquerading as a policeman. He inappropriately touched the plaintiff, leaving her in complete shock.
As soon as the lift reached the second floor, the young girl quickly Scampered towards her house. She told the entire episode to the family, prompting them to rush towards the lift to apprehend the accused. However, to their surprise, the accused beat a hasty retreat following the incident.
After that, the accused girl and her family registered a complaint of molestation against an unknown person at Bandra Police Station. Police are investigating the incident with the help of CCTV footage from the premises.
