Mumbai: Metro 2A And Metro 7 To Remain Closed on Sunday
Mumbai, 7th January 2023: D. N. Nagar Metro 2A and Dahisar – Andheri Metro 7 Metro services between Dahisar – Dahanukarwadi – Arey will remain completely closed on Sunday (January 8). Due to some technical works, a mega block of 16 hours will be held on both routes during this period.
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) announced a 16-hour mega block on Sunday to implement an integrated signal system on both the Phase-1 and Phase-2 lines of ‘Metro 2A’ and ‘Metro 7’ at full capacity. Therefore, MMRDA has requested that the services of ‘Metro 2A’ and ‘Metro 7’ be completely closed on Sunday and the passengers should take note of this.
According to the MMRDA officials, a mega block will be held on the 20 km Dahisar – Dahanukarwadi – Aare route from 6 am to 10 pm on Sunday. Metro services will be closed from 6 am to 10 pm. This metro service has been started since April 2022 and for the first time since then, this metro service will be completely closed tomorrow.
