Mumbai On Alert After Intel On Khalistani Terrorist Attack, Leaves Of All Police Personnel Canceled
Mumbai, 30th December 2021: Mumbai, the country’s financial capital, is once again under the shadow of terrorists amidst the new variant Omicron crisis of Coronavirus and new year celebration.
In view of this, the leave of all the police personnel has been cancelled. News agency ANI quoted Mumbai Police as saying that it was reported that Khalistani terrorists may carry out attacks in the city, after which the Mumbai Police is on alert.
According to the Mumbai Police, the leaves and weekly holidays of all police personnel have been canceled and everyone has been posted on duty.
Mumbai Railway Police Commissioner Qaiser Khalid said that in view of the alert in Mumbai, tight security arrangements have been made at major stations of the city including Dadar, Bandra Churchgate, CSMT, Kurla and other stations.
In a report published in ABP News, Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil was quoted as saying that there is going to be a strong police arrangement in Maharashtra including Mumbai.
The effect of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus has also increased in the city. After which now as a precaution, Mumbai Police has imposed Section 144 here. The gathering of four persons together is prohibited here.
