Mumbai Police Investigating Murder of Elderly Woman in Dombivli Flat

Mumbai, 7th May 2023: Police are investigating the murder of a 65-year-old woman in her flat in the Arjun Empire building in the Gharivali area near Dombivli. The deceased, identified as Anita Patil, is believed to have been killed during a theft attempt. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.

Patil, who lived alone in the flat, was found dead by her daughter, who became suspicious when Patil did not answer her phone. When her daughter visited the flat, she discovered her mother’s body and immediately alerted the authorities.

Patil’s family members have alleged that she was murdered during a robbery attempt. The police have sent her body for an autopsy and are continuing their investigation.
