Mumbai: Water Pipe Burst Causes Wastage in Dahisar’s Toll Naka Area
Dahisar, 5th December 2023: In an unfortunate incident, a 300 mm diameter water pipe burst near the toll plaza in front of Harem Textiles, Dahisar, on Tuesday morning. The burst led to the accumulation of water in the Dahisar Toll Naka area, resulting in the wastage of thousands of litres of water.
The mishap occurred during maintenance work conducted by the Adani Electricity Company. Promptly informed through the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) helpline number 1916, the water engineering department’s staff swiftly responded to the scene, initiating urgent repairs on the water channel. BMC authorities have assured that the repair work will be completed by 4 pm.
