No Mega Blocks On Sunday On Western And Central Railway Main Lines For Ganeshotsav Preparations

Mumbai, 27th August 2022: On Sunday (28th August), the Western Railway and Central Railway will not take mega blocks on the main line to avoid the inconvenience in preparation of devotees going to markets in large numbers to shop and prepare for Ganeshotsav.

 

However, a mega block has been taken at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Chunabhatti, Bandra Harbor, and Thane-Vashi, Nerul Trans Harbor.

 

Mega Block will be conducted on Thane-Vashi, Nerul Up and Down Trans Harbour route from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm. Similarly, upbound trains from Thane to Vashi, Nerul, and Panvel from 10.35 am to 4.07 pm and from Vashi, Nerul, and Panvel to Thane from 10.25 am to 4.09 pm have been cancelled.

 

There will be a mega block from CSMT on Chunabhatti, Bandra Harbor route from 11.40 am to 4.40 pm and on Chunabhatti, Bandra – CSMT Up Harbor route from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm. Therefore, the local trips on the Harbor route from CSMT, Wadala Road between 11.16 am to 4.47 pm to Vashi, Belapur, Panvel and from CSMT to Bandra, Goregaon between 10.48 am to 4.43 pm will be cancelled.

 

 

Locals departing from Panvel, Belapur, and Vashi for CSMT from 9.53 am to 3.20 pm and from Goregaon, Bandra for CSMT from 10.45 am to 5.13 pm have also been cancelled. Special services will be run between Panvel and Kurla during the block period.
