One Dead And Six Severely Injured In Accident Between Container And Bus On Pune-Mumbai Expressway
Khopoli, 19th December 2022: In a major accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, a container collided with a private bus carrying 35 passengers. One person died, and six were seriously injured.
According to the information received, the container hit the private bus from behind at Bhor Ghat near Khopoli. The container has suffered major damage, and the bus is completely crushed from behind.
The driver of the bus died in this accident. Three passengers are in critical condition, and one is seriously injured. The injured have been shifted to MGM Hospital, Panvel. 10 to 12 minor injuries are being treated at the spot.
The passengers had attended a wedding at Sindhudurg. The accident occurred when they were returning to Vasind via Kolhapur.
