Protesters Demanding Ban On Pathaan Burn Shah Rukh Khan’s Posters In Indore

Indore, 15th December 2022: On Wednesday (December 15), activists from a group protested against the upcoming Bollywood film “Pathaan” and its song “Besharam Rang in Indore.

At a traffic light, “Veer Shivaji Group” activists assembled and burned Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan effigies on fire. They urged a ban on the movie, which is scheduled to be released in January of next year. They claimed that the song “Besharam Rang” had offended the Hindu community.

Narottam Mishra, the home minister for Madhya Pradesh, had earlier expressed displeasure with Padukone’s wardrobe in the “Pathaan” song as well as the color of Padukone and lead actor Shah Rukh Khan’s clothing, and called for its “rectification.”

According to Mishra, the government will think about what to do about the movie’s screening in Madhya Pradesh if certain sequences in the song are not “fixed.”
