Pune: Lifeless Body of Male Infant Found in Pimpri Drainage System
Pimpri, 14th March 2024: A distressing discovery unfolded in Pimpri as the lifeless body of a male infant was found discarded in a drainage system, sending shockwaves through the community. This incident came to light on Tuesday (12th) in Gurudatta Nagar, situated behind Gokul Hotel.
Authorities at the Pimpri Police Station have initiated an investigation, registering a case against an unidentified woman believed to be connected to the abandonment and subsequent demise of the infant.
Preliminary findings suggest that the infant, estimated to be around five to six months old, was deliberately placed in the drainage with intent to cause harm, resulting in his untimely death. The Pimpri police have taken swift action, launching efforts to apprehend the individual responsible for this act.
