Pune: Mattress Factory Catches Fire In Lohegaon, No Casualty Reported

Lohegaon, 23rd April 2022: A fire broke out at a mattress factory today evening in Logegaon, Pune. The fire intensified with presence of cotton in a large quantity. Firefighters rushed to the spot and contained the blaze. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

The incident took place at Dhanlaxmi mattress factory on Lohegaon-Wadgaon Shinde road. Residents informed the fire brigade that a large amount of smoke was coming from the mattress factory around 6 pm.

The fire broke out after the cotton from the mattress factory caught fire. Upon learning of the incident, the fire brigade arrived at the with water tanker and extinguished the fire. It took one and half hours to bring the fire under control.

The cause of the fire could is yet to be ascertained.
