Release Of Fawad Khan’s Starrer ‘The Legend Of Maula Jatt’ Postponed In India
Mumbai, 30th December 2022: The release of ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’, a Pakistani movie starring Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan is postponed in India. An INOX executive was quoted in a PTI article as saying that the film scheduled to release in India on December 30 was postponed, maybe indefinitely.
According to reports, Zee Studios purchased the rights to The Legend of Maula Jatt because they anticipated the movie would perform well in India. However, the release of the movie was delayed owing to “opposition from some groups.” Zee Studios plans to first release the movie in Delhi-NCR and Punjab before expanding to other regions of India.
The multiplex chain PVR Cinemas announced the movie’s India release date earlier this week on its official Instagram page, but later deleted it.
