Road Rage in Navi Mumbai: IT Professional Killed After Overtaking Bikers
Navi Mumbai, 7th February 2025: A tragic case of road rage in Navi Mumbai’s Kharghar claimed the life of a 45-year-old man on Thursday night. The victim, identified as Shivkumar Roshanlal Sharma, was assaulted by unidentified individuals on a two-wheeler after allegedly overtaking them.
The incident occurred around 8:30 PM as Sharma was heading home from Vashi on his bike. Near Belpada and Utsav Chowk, he reportedly passed a group of riders, leading to a heated confrontation.
The attackers believed to be in their early 20s, used helmets to assault Sharma before fleeing the scene. Sharma, an IT professional, succumbed to his injuries following the attack.
Authorities have not yet confirmed any arrests in connection with the case.
