Terrorist From Punjab Arrested In Mumbai By Maharashtra ATS

Mumbai, 13th October 2022:

A suspected terrorist named Charatsingh @ Indrajitsingh Karisingh @ Karaj Singh, 30

yrs, has 08 criminal offences registered against him. From March 2022, he was out

on 2 months parole leave from Kapurthala Jail, Punjab.

During his parole period

he along with his associates attacked Punjab Police, Intelligence Head Quarter,

Mohali with Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) on 9th May 2022.

Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS), Maharashtra received discreet information about his

whereabouts. Accordingly an ATS team detained him from Malad, Mumbai.

During interrogation, it was revealed that he is in contact with wanted terrorist

named Lakhbir Singh Landa, presently in Canada.

The arrested accused has been handed over to Punjab Police for further

necessary action.
