Thane: Education Scam Exposed: Hundreds Of Students Defrauded In Fictitious Government Nursing Program In Kalyan

Kalyan, 5th October 2023: A shocking scam was unveiled in Dombivli, where hundreds of students fell victim to a sham government nursing course scheme. Due to this, the entire academic year of these students has been wasted, resulting in huge financial as well as academic losses for them.

The said incident happened in the Vishwakarma City Self-Employment Centre of the Udaan Institute of Education. The institute was located in the Jhunjarrao Complex in Kalyan West.

According to the complaint, the institute took lakhs of rupees from the students under the guise of providing admission to government-approved nursing courses in this institute. Furthermore, they also alleged that the certificate provided to students after completion of the course was also forged.

After realising that they were cheated, students contacted Shiv Sena’s city branch, providing details of the entire incident. After that, students along with Shiv Sena city chief Mahesh Gaikwad lodged a formal complaint against the director and staff of the institute at Mahatma Phule police station.

A complaint has been registered in this matter, and the police have started an investigation into the matter. Meanwhile, the students have demanded that strict action be taken against this institute, which wastes the academic year of the students by giving fake certificates in the name of government-approved courses.
