Thane: Ulhasnagar Teacher Arrested for Allegedly Molesting Seven-Year-Old Student
Thane, 14th September 2024: Authorities in Ulhasnagar, located in Maharashtra’s Thane district, have taken a private school teacher into custody on charges of molesting a seven-year-old girl student, as reported on Saturday.
The individual, who serves as a physical education instructor, was apprehended on Friday, according to officials from the Hill Line police station.
It was reported that the incident occurred on school grounds. The girl informed her parents about the situation, prompting them to file a complaint with the police on Thursday.
As a result, a case has been initiated under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, leading to the teacher’s arrest.
