Thane: Young Man Collapses and Dies While Playing Turf Cricket Near Mira Road
Thane, 3rd June 2024: A tragic incident unfolded near Mumbai’s Mira Road as a young man collapsed and passed away while playing turf cricket, sparking shock and concern.
In a viral video shared on social media, the youth, clad in a pink jersey, was captured playing a shot before suddenly collapsing on the turf. Despite efforts from fellow players to assist him, the young man remained unresponsive, and the entire ordeal was documented on camera.
Reports suggest that the youth suffered a heart attack during the turf cricket match in the Kashimeera area of Mira Road. Following a powerful shot that resulted in a six, he collapsed on the ground, prompting an investigation by the Kashigoan Police.
The cricket match was organized by a company, with employees engaging in friendly competition on the turf. Sadly, the young player’s life was cut short due to a heart attack.
