WESTERN RAILWAY RELEASES “LAY BHAARI” AWARENESS SONG IN COLLABORATION WITH RED FM

Mumbai, 06 Febuary 2024: To create awareness among Mumbaikars regarding various social issues, Western Railway in collaboration with Red FM launched a song to appeal the masses, especially Mumbaikars. The “Western Railway Hai Lay Bhaari” song is sung by renowned radio jockey & actress, Malishka who is popularly known as “Mumbai Ki Rani”. On Monday, 5th February, 2024, the music video of the song was released at the Red FM office in Mumbai in the presence of RJs and the production team of Red FM along with WR officials.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the “Lay Bhaari” song sung by RJ Malishka appeals in her ‘bindaas’ Mumbai lingo to follow rules and regulations for a happy and safe train journey. The song gives several social messages like, security at stations, special provisions for ladies and Divyangjan passengers, Not Boarding/Alighting a moving train, Not traveling on the footboard of the train, etc. The song beautifully depicts the lives of Mumbaikars living in the City of Dream – Mumbai and that the Western Railway’s Mumbai Local connects the lives of each and everyone described as “Sapne Dikhaye ye Galli se Global”. The song also encourages passengers to purchase proper valid tickets before traveling otherwise Ticket Collectors of WR will take action on traveling without tickets. While talking about safety and security, Western Railway stands numero uno by taking special care of all commuters, especially women and Divyangjan commuters. The song also appeals commuters not to risk their lives by traveling on the footboard or boarding/alighting a train while it is in motion. The viral song aims to encourage passengers follow rules for a safe and happy journey in Western Railway local trains.
