Gas Cylinder Explosion in Mumbai’s Chembur Area Injures Nine Individuals

Mumbai, 6th June 2024: In Mumbai’s Chembur area, a gas cylinder explosion occurred at 7:37 am on Thursday, resulting in injuries to nine individuals.

The blast caused a fire that affected a ground plus one-story building, but firefighters managed to extinguish the flames by 8:08 am.

The injured victims were promptly taken to the Shatabdi Hospital in Govandi, which is operated by the civic authorities.

Among those injured are Om Limbajiya (9), Ajay Limbaijya (33), Poonam Limbajiya (35), Mehak Limbajiya (11), Jyotsna Limbajiya (53), Piyush Limbajiya (25), Nitin Limbajiya (55), Preeti Limbajiya (34), and Susan Shirsat (55).
