Pune Water Supply Running Normally; No Water Cut in City, Clarifies Mayor Manjusha Nagpure
Pune, 22nd July 2026: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has clarified that there is no water cut currently in effect anywhere in the city and that the water supply is functioning smoothly, Mayor Manjusha Nagpure said on Wednesday.
The Mayor stated that the civic administration is regularly reviewing the water storage levels in the city’s dams, as well as the water supply and distribution system, to ensure uninterrupted service. She said residents across Pune are receiving an adequate and scheduled water supply.
Appealing to citizens, Nagpure urged them not to believe rumours or unverified information regarding water cuts circulating on social media or other platforms.
She added that the PMC’s Water Supply Department is ensuring planned and systematic distribution of water across all parts of the city. In the event of any technical issues, immediate corrective measures are being taken to restore normal supply without delay.
The Mayor also appealed to residents to use water judiciously and responsibly, stressing the importance of conserving the resource despite the current availability.
Reiterating the civic body’s commitment to providing uninterrupted water supply, Nagpure said there is no water rationing or water cut in Pune at present, and citizens need not worry about any disruption in supply.
