Increase In PPOs In IIT Mandi; 11 Offers From Microsoft, 7 From Amazon

Mandi, 17th November 2022: Pre-placement offers (PPOs) have increased from 56 last year to 69 this year at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi as of November 16.

This year, Microsoft (11 offers), Samsung Research Institute, Bangalore (10 offers), Amazon (7 offers), Arista networks (6 offers), Accenture (4 offers), and Uber are the top employers who have made pre-placement offers to IIT Mandi students.

Sprinklr, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Indeed, Uber, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Siemens, Samsung Research Institute Bangalore, Schrodinger, Walmart, Zomato, Texas Instruments, ODE, Arista Networks, Yum, Radisys, Accenture, Aakash+Byju, Nucleus Software, Western Digital, and Nohara Holdings, Inc. are additional multinational corporations that provided PPOs to IIT Mandi students.

The majority of PPOs thus far this academic year have come from the data science and software analyst industries. According to the institute, the addition of student internships lasting six months significantly increased the number of internships lasting a semester.

Companies may offer PPOs up until December 1, 2022, when the first phase of placements is scheduled to start.
