Thane: Police Raid on Massage Parlor in Dombivli: Human Trafficking Suspected

Dombivli, 10th December 2023: In a recent operation, the Manpada Police in Dombivli raided a massage parlour, rescuing five young women and arresting the manager, Nitin Bhuvad. The establishment, Archies Spa, located in the Archinia building on the premises of KV Pendharkar College of Arts, Science and Commerce in Dombivli MIDC, was suspected of involvement in human trafficking under the guise of a massage parlour.

The police had received information about potentially illegal activities at the parlour and had been monitoring it for some days. Following the raid, five young women were rescued, and the manager, Nitin Bhuvad, was apprehended. However, the owner of the parlour, Mukund Waghmare, is currently at large, and the police are actively searching for him.

Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the extent of the alleged human trafficking operation, how long it has been ongoing, and the number of individuals involved.
