BJP MP Ravi Kishan Cheated Of Rs 3.15 Crore, Complaint Filed

Mumbai, 28th September 2022: Ravi Kishan, MP from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, has filed a case of cheating of Rs 3.25 crore against a businessman from Mumbai. MP’s public relations officer Pawan Dubey said that Ravi Kishan was duped by a Mumbai-based businessman of Rs 3.25 crore. A written complaint has been lodged at the Cantt Police Station in this matter. Police have started an investigation by registering a case against the businessman.

 

 

 

According to the report filed with the police, in 2012, Ravi Kishan had given Rs 3.25 crore to a person named Jain Jitendra Ramesh, a resident of East Mumbai, and when he asked him to return the money, he gave him 12 cheques for 34 lakhs. The cheque bounced when the MP deposited it in the Bank Road Gorakhpur State Bank of India on 7th December 2021. When the businessman did not agree to return the money despite constantly asking for it, the MP complained to the police.

 

 

 

The Cantt Police Station in charge, Shashi Bhushan Rai, said that the police have registered a case and started an investigation. Earlier the MP used to live in Singharia of Cantt police station area, but recently he has started living in a house in Planetarium Lake View Colony.

 

 

 

Recently, Ravi Kishan tweeted about his family problem. He had said that his mother is suffering from cancer and is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mumbai. A few months back, his elder brother also died due to illness.
