Maharashtra Kesari Shivraj Rakshe Scores a New Victory: Named Pune Municipal Corporation’s Sports Officer
Pune, 5th March 2024: In a recent development, Maharashtra Kesari Shivraj Rakshe has been designated as the Sports Officer in the Pune Municipal Corporation, as per official orders from the state government.
Having earned the prestigious Maharashtra Kesari award, Rakshe’s appointment received positive feedback, leading to his selection for one of the two Sports Officer positions. The second position, a nominated post, currently vacant, will be filled by Rakshe.
Notably, the proposal to relax educational qualifications for this appointment was granted special approval, prompting Deputy Secretary Priyanka Kulkarni-Chaipwale to instruct the Municipal Commissioner to proceed with the appointment and submit a report.
