Pune Railway Division Surpasses Expectations: Records Rs 103.36 Crore in Passenger Revenue in Feb 2024
Pune, 5th February 2024: Pune railway division has been generated Rs 103.36 Crore. from passenger revenue in February 2024 , increase by 16.3% over corresponding month of February 2023 which was Rs 88.86 Crore. Number of originating passengers in February 2023 were 41.0 Lakhs.
In terms of ticket checking revenue for February 2024 Rs 2.25 Crore has been received, increase of 05.8% as compared to February 2023 Rs 2.13 Crore.
Division has earned revenue of Rs 32.64 Crore by transporting 134 goods trains in February 2024 comprising 79 of automobiles, 19 of petroleum products and 22 of sugar rakes.
79 rakes of automobiles loaded in February 2024 fetching revenue of Rs 14.35 Crore, 64% increase against 48 rakes of February 2023 and revenue Rs 8.72 Crore, 22 rakes of sugar loaded in February 2024 fetching revenue of Rs 15.53 Crore, 66 % increase against 17 rakes of February 2023 and revenue Rs 09.37 Crore.
Under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Indu Dubey, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Brijesh Kumar Singh and result of the active efforts under the leadership of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Dr. Milind Hirave, Senior Divisional Operating Manager Dr. Ramdas Bhise had played pivotal role in these achievements .
