16-Year-Old Dies in Bicycle Stunt Accident at Mumbai’s Ghodbunder Fort
Mumbai, 2nd November 2024: A tragic bicycle stunt accident near Mumbai resulted in the death of a 16-year-old boy. Neeraj Yadav, riding at high speed down a steep slope at Ghodbunder Fort in Mira-Bhayandar, lost control and crashed into a wall by the entrance of a house, as captured on CCTV footage from a nearby store.
Neeraj, a resident of the Mira Road area, had cycled to the fort on Monday. During his descent, he was unable to control his bike, leading to the fatal collision. After the impact, Neeraj collapsed on the spot, bleeding profusely. Bystanders quickly gathered at the scene, and when he failed to respond to attempts to revive him, they rushed him to the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Government Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities have registered the case as an accidental death.
