17 Kg Of Drugs Worth 85 Lakhs Seized From 28-Year-Old Man In Wadala
Mumbai, 1st November 2022: On Monday, the Wadala police caught a man who came to Wadala with the intention of selling drugs. Upon interrogation, 17 kg of hashish worth Rs 85 lakh was found in his possession. The accused named Zahid Tipu Sultan Khan (28) has been arrested.
The Wadala Police received information that a person was coming to sell drugs within the Wadala Police Station limits. After that, the police started taking action by setting a trap.
On Monday night around 11 pm, when a person was seen coming on a bike, the police immediately detained him. During a search, hashish weighing 16.983 kg was found from him.
A case under section 8 (c), 20 (c) along with 29 NDPS Act 1985 has been registered at the Wadala police station. Police informed that the Zahid has been arrested and further investigation is going on.
