Dr. Tanaji Salve Social Foundation Holds ‘Constitution Literacy Campaign’ at Malad School

Mumbai, 4th October 2025: The Dr. Tanaji Salve Social Foundation successfully organized a “Constitution Literacy Campaign” at New Secondary School, Malad, to promote awareness about the Indian Constitution, its core values, and the duties and rights of citizens among students.
The event was presided over by Principal Salunkhe, while Prof. Dr. Vilas Adhav, Head and Director of the Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension at Savitribai Phule Pune University, and Sanstha Secretary Baban Jagtap were present as chief guests. Dr. Sangeeta Salve, Founder of the Dr. Tanaji Salve Social Foundation, guided the students during the session and spoke about the importance of constitutional values such as Equality, Freedom, Fraternity, and Justice in everyday life.
As part of the campaign, copies of the Constitution were distributed to students. A speech and essay competition on the theme “My Constitution – My Pride” was also organized, and the winners were felicitated with certificates and prizes.
The event was moderated by Jadhav, and the vote of thanks was proposed by Jagat. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from school faculty, students, and members of the foundation.
The Foundation informed that it regularly conducts educational and public awareness activities to strengthen understanding of constitutional principles and promote civic responsibility among citizens.
