Vasai Virar: Decomposing Body Of Woman Found On Cot, Husband Absconding
Vasai Virar, 14th February 2023: The decomposed body of a 40-year-old woman was found on a cot in a closed flat in the Tulinj area of Nalasopara. The woman has been identified as Megha Shah. After she was found, her husband, Hardik Shah, absconded, and the police are searching for him.
A foul smell was emanating from a house on the second floor of the Sita Sadan building in Tulinj, Nalasopara East. Neighbours informed the police about this as the stench increased on Monday. When the Tulinj police broke open the door of the house, a woman’s body was found on the cot of the house.
The police suspect that her husband committed the murder. The Shah couple had come to live in a rented flat in this building 20 days ago. Tulinj police have registered a case of murder, and the search for the accused is on.
