Mumbai: Three-Year-Old Dead, Two Injured In Car Accident
Mumbai, 9th March 2023: A car collided with another car at BKC in Mumbai. A three-and-a-half-year-old girl died in this accident, while two other persons were seriously injured. The incident took place on Tuesday around 5 pm. Meanwhile, the name of the accused driver has been confirmed as Vishwas Attavar, and the police have arrested him. Reportedly, he was in a drunken state while driving.
According to a report in Times of India, the accused driver hit a pedestrian near a traffic signal, near the BKC police station, around 5 pm on Tuesday. After that, while fleeing from there at high speed, he hit an oncoming car, travelling in the opposite direction from the road at Hotel Trident. A three-and-a-half-year-old girl died on the spot in this horrific accident. Her uncle Om Chaudhary (25) and his friend Vinod Yadav (46) were seriously injured. Both have been admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital.
In this case, the police detained the accused car driver and registered a case against him under the Motor Vehicle Act. Police have also informed that the accused driver was drunk during the accident. Meanwhile, when the accused driver was produced before the court, the court granted him bail.
