Amrit Bharat Express Connects Ayodhya to Mumbai in 28 Hours, Runs Weekly

Mumbai/Ayodhya, April 30, 2026: Indian Railways has regularised the Ayodhya Cantt–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Amrit Bharat Express as a weekly service, with confirmed journey time, halts and booking availability.
The train will run between Ayodhya Cantt and Mumbai (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus), completing the journey in approximately 28 hours. It will depart from Ayodhya in the evening and reach Mumbai the following evening, with a corresponding return schedule.
The train will halt at key stations including Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Manikpur, Satna, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Nashik, Kalyan, Thane and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus.
Booking for the service has commenced via the Indian Railways reservation system, including online ticketing platforms and station counters. The train consists of non-AC General and Sleeper class coaches with standard fare structure.
